Our Farm
"In 1928 Grandfather Dixon purchased the property that we now call home. Mother and Daddy were married soon thereafter and moved here to live all of their married lives. The farm was home to Dixon Herford Farm and quality purebred Herford cattle. As a child I grew up in the show ring.
In 1976 my family moved back home. Will and I developed a flock of show club lambs. We named our side of the farm "Mason Creek Farms." Our children both showed animals. We produced quality animals that were able to compete on both the local and national level. We attracted people from at least 19 states for our last sale.
Our grandchildren are the 6th generation to enjoy the land. As you can see our farm revolves around animals and Dixon history. One thing that we all have had in common is a love for animals and the desire to raise quality animals.
You can rest assured that visitors are always welcome. We look forward to meeting new friends."

Mason Creek Farms has been in existence since 1976. Ours is a working farm with cattle, sheep, and puppy dogs.

Jamie D. Kilgore lives in Hebron, Mississippi, ten miles from the nearest town. Plenty of fresh air, wide-open spaces, birds, rabbits, squirrels, deer, and butterflies are just a few of the things Jamie and her Miniature Dachshund Doxies enjoy watching.
Jamie has a B.S. and M.S. from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS, with fourteen years teaching experience.
